Welcome to ShardRun!

A fun multiplayer tag game involving scientist and monkey shenanigans.

Scientists travel to an island in order to collect shards of a dangerous, radioactive crystal that is turning all living beings into Monkeys. 

Scientists must avoid Monkeys while their escape device charges, and Monkeys must catch and transform Scientists into fellow Monkeys to keep them from leaving with the shards!

Controls

• WASD - Movement
• Space - Jump
• C - Crouch
• W + C - Slide 
• LMB - Catch (only Monkeys)
• Q - Use Ability 1
• E - Use Ability 2

Instructions

Once the game starts, one player is chosen as a Monkey, and the rest become Scientists. Scientists get a short head start, so make sure to use it!

Only one player wins, so make sure that you don't rely on your teammates to earn bounty/shards!

Scientists

As a Scientist, your goal is to collect shards. To win, you must collect the most amount of shards and avoid the Monkeys until time runs out without being caught. If two Scientists have the same amount of shards, the one that collected that amount first wins! 

Shards are worth MORE with each Scientist that is turned into a Monkey. Don't stop collecting them!

Monkeys 

As a Monkey, you must catch the Scientists and claim as much bounty as possible. In order to win, all the Scientists have to be caught and you have to have the highest bounty (the highest combined shards taken from Scientists that you have caught).

When you catch a Scientist, they are transformed into a Monkey and start with a bounty of 0.  The shards that the captured Scientist had are transferred to the Monkey that caught them, and the game goes on! 

Known Issues:

• In HOST settings AFTER FINISH GAME should be set to BACK TO LOBBY.  Other option does not work right now.
